Andrea is a Columbia University Graduate with 10 years of experience working in a variety of settings within the mental health space (schools, home-based care, and outpatient clinics). Since obtaining her Masters of Social Work, she has worked with individuals to help them process trauma and create a tool box of coping skills to implement when they are facing their triggers and navigating through life.

Andrea's approach is guided by a range of modalities to best meet your specific goals within therapy. Focusing on the relationship as the center of treatment allows for a nurturing space to provide supportive feedback and foster inner growth. She draws from techniques like DBT, focusing on emotional regulation skills, mindfulness techniques, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness skills. Being that she has spent a majority of her career working with survivors of trauma, she believe we all have a unique story to tell. She prioritizes creating a safe and supportive space to explore life's challenges while identifying your inner strengths and resilience.
